Dear Prayer warrior and supporter,
I wanted to write to you and let you know of an opportunity for me to serve the Lord and grow in my walk with Him through mission trips. This summer, I will be going to Colorado (May 17-22), Madagascar, and Kenya (June 26-July 12). I am returning to where we served for so many years in Africa. I will be training and encouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ there. I will also be working with a church plant in Colorado.
First, I am asking you to commit to pray for me (Suzie, Baylee, and River). I ask that you pray that we can prepare our hearts for loving those we will encounter. That we would grow in our walk with the Lord. That we will encourage leaders and continue to train them up in God’s Word. Pray also for the areas we will be going to. The South of Madagascar has been hit hard by cyclones and many believers have lost homes, churches, crops, and more. I am hoping to take some money to help them out with food and seed for future crops.
Secondly, as I am going on to Madagascar, Kenya, and Colorado, I am needing to get some more funding to cover my costs of $6650 (airfare $4250, training cost, and lodging and meals) and then for help for the trainings and disaster relief of $6500.
